Gradually I have started to make inroads into the area of the Central Fells. After the initial draw of fells in other regions, the Central Fells have started to come into their own for me, being a very diverse set of walking regions - the fells accessed from Keswick such as Walla Crag have a different feel to Ambleside's fell, Loughrigg, and with the Langdale Pikes there is yet another jewel in the Central Fells crown.
