My Wainwrights - Book Two: The Far Eastern Fells

Book Two The Far Eastern Fells

The guide on the wall on the Roman Road, High Street

The Far Eastern Fells were the last of the seven areas of Wainwright's Lakeland which I started exploring, Now I can't get enough of this region - it is quiet and serene and as well as giving the full Lake District experience, the fringe fells almost offer a view of the heart of the National Park from the outside looking in.
